Introduction - Basic Components of the Double Necker Rig
 

This is a short introduction of the inventor of Double Necker Rigs. The video also demonstrates the 3 basic recycled components.

 



Float it
 

Remove V-Notched Closure from the Double Necker. Hold the closure against fishing line by placing the line in the V section of the closure. While holding the closure in place. Twist the enclosed end of the Double Necker body into the closure so that it secures to your line. No tying required! Simply loosen the closure slightly to adjust line depth and re-tighten to secure.



Sink it & Bounce it (Lead Free Weight)
 

Adjustable Weight System - With the Double Necker attached to your line. Remove the outer closure and add coins, pebbles, sand, etc. to the inside cavity of the Double Necker. Replace the outer closure and twist to tighten. Adjust weight by adding or removing contents within. The Double Necker will contain 25 U.S. Pennies for a total weight of approximately 2oz. Bounce it like a bottom bouncer on a slow drift. Simply add 5 or 6 pennies and secure the outer closure. This gives the Double Necker partial bouancy allowing the rig to sink slowly with less resistance. Great when fishing rock beds.


Slip it & Slide it - Float or (Lead Free) Sinker
 

Remove the Double Necker from your line if attached. Feed the end of your fishing line under one of the two protection rings near the center of the Double Necker. You may need remove the closure and pull the ring forward slightly to expose a small void allowing your line to pass through. Slide the line under the ring and replace the closure and tighten. Place a line stop below the Double Necker and tie on your hooking method. Remove the outer closure with open end and add coins, pebbles, sand, etc. to the inside cavity of the Double Necker. Replace the outer closure and twist to tighten. Adjust weight by adding or removing contents within.



Light it - (Night Float)
 

With the Double Necker attached to your line using the V-Notched or Ring attachment methods. Remove the outer open ended closure and add a 1.5" Light Stick to the inside cavity of the Double Necker. Replace the outer closure and twist to tighten. Makes Great Night Float with just a Twist!



Store it (Small Tackle Storage)
 

Store all your favorite small tackle, jigs, hooks, etc. within each Double Necker. Mix & Match closure colors to organize your tackle system. Each Double Necker fits nicely into most tackle trays while also providing a dry storage option.



Spin it (Spinner Rig Storage)
 

Remove V-Notched Closure from the Double Necker. Hold the closure below the tie on loop of your favorite Spinner Rig. Hold the closure against fishing line by placing the line in the V-section of the closure. While holding the closure in place. Twist the enclosed end of the Double Necker body into the closure so that it secures to your Spinner Rig. To Store the Spinner Rig after use. Simply loosen the V-Notched closure and slide it up close to your tie loop. Twist to secure. Wrap the Spinner Rig line clockwise around the neck of the Double Necker several times until the spinner and hook are within 1.5" to 2" from the outer closure of the Double Necker. Remove the outer closure while holding it, tuck the spinner and hook inside of the Double Necker body and replace the outer closure while twisting to secure contents within. This provides a great method to contain your spinner rigs when not in use. Also a great way to prepare for your next fishing trip. Simply tie on a Double Necker at the Spinner Rig loop, Remove the outer closure and unwind the spinner from the Double Necker. Place pennies within and replace the outer closure and your ready to fish with just a Twist. No tying required! Simply loosen the closure slightly to adjust line depth and re-tighten to secure.



Pop it (Bottle Floats)
 

Remove V-Notched Closure from the Double Necker. Using a empty beverage bottle (8,16,20,24 oz. or 1 liter)with similar threads. Hold the V-Notched closure against fishing line by placing the line in the V-section of the closure. While holding the closure in place. Twist the empty bottle into the closure so that it secures to your line. This method works well when fishig large bodies of water or spillways, dikes, etc. No tying required! Simply loosen the closure slightly to adjust line depth and re-tighten to secure. Try using the under the ring method if a slip float is desired. Note: Large 3 to 6" Light sticks can be used within these large bottles for a bright night floats.



Change it
 

Change colors of your Double Necker to match fishing conditions, organize tackle, or seperate fishing lines. Simply remove colored closure and/or center protections rings. REUSE closures and protection rings from recycled beverage bottles and adapt them to your Double Necker Rig. Colors are almost unlimited! Mix it and Match it!



Cast it
The Double Necker has a dry weight of approx. 1/2 oz, this provides longer casting distances and also makes a great twist-on practice weight. Remove V-Notched Closure from the Double Necker. Hold the closure against fishing line by placing the line in the V section of the closure. While holding the closure in place. Twist the enclosed end of the Double Necker body into the closure so that it secures to your line. No tying required! Simply loosen the closure slightly to remove.
